ENTERING RACE FOR NM SENATE DISTRICT #20

Friends,
I’ve made the decision to turn the progressive momentum I gained in the CD 1 race towards a run for my State Senate seat in district #20, a seat which has been held by Republican William Payne since 1997. We have seen just in the past two months at the Democratic caucuses and the recent Democratic Conventions that New Mexico is a blue state, but it’s time to confirm this in the state legislature. New Mexico needs a state legislature in which progressive values are secure.
I am working on addressing local issues on this site, but for now you can visit the Issues pages which make clear my personal values, my love of personal political activism, and my sense of urgency for making this state and country a place where a diversity of people are respected and where all people are served equally under the law and the Constitution.
